Reuniting Siblings at Birthday Palooza’s Pirate Party

Our third annual “Birthday Palooza,” a celebratory day-long event at Kidspace that reunites hundreds of siblings separated by foster care. FosterMore Honors Kidspace as Organization of the Year

We won a FosterMorey! At the end of last year, Kidspace was named the FosterMore Organization of the Year for our work as innovators in improving the lives of foster youth and families! FosterMore’s mission is to advance a deeper understanding of foster care, greater empathy for those involved, and to provide opportunities for the public to engage and improve outcomes for youth in foster care.

Kidspace partnered with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services to host an Adoption Matching Play Date at Kidspace. This special day brought together parents open to adoption and children in foster care who are seeking a permanent home. The day gave the children and families an opportunity to get to know each other in a relaxed and playful space.
