Guest Experience Guide
Kidspace is searching for part-time Guest Experience Guides. Guest Experience Guides are responsible for engaging guests and supporting age-appropriate learning experiences. They are creative, patient and customer-service oriented. On a day-to-day basis, Guest Experience Guides lead short educational activities, answer guest inquiries and provide museum information, facilitate exhibit experiences and engage guests. They support admissions, membership inquires and retail sales through web-based ticketing and point of sale systems. Ideal candidates exhibit a willingness to learn and grow as well as a can-do attitude. The position requires availability at least 16 hours per week, requires availability on at least one weekend day and pays an hourly wage of $16.00.

Groundskeeper
Kidspace Children’s Museum seeks a groundskeeper to oversee the overall care, upkeep and maintenance of all outdoor areas of the museum campus including landscaped areas, pathways, courtyards, and outdoor exhibits and water features. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Groundskeeper will work with other members of the maintenance team to ensure our 3-acre campus is safe, welcoming and beautiful.

Retail Lead
Retail Leads are responsible for engaging with guests, and creating a joyful, welcoming atmosphere at the Kidspace Museum Store and pop-up locations, and offering leadership and support to Retail Associates. As part of a dynamic team within the museum which serves young children and their families, a playful attitude and interest in working with families of young children is a must! This is a part-time position, typical hours 9-5, weekends required, as well as some evenings. From $17/hour.

Events and Special Programs Manager
Kidspace Children’s Museum seeks an imaginative event professional to develop the next generation of music, art, and educational events for families in the Los Angeles region. The Events and Special Programs Manager will be responsible for conceiving, developing, planning, and executing compelling events that expand Kidspace’s audience and appeal to a diverse community. Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, the Events and Special Programs Manager will work collaboratively with our marketing, exhibits, customer service, and content teams.
