Director of Development
Position Overview: The Director of Development (DOD) is a hybrid home/office position that will report to the Chief Administrative Officer. The DOD will provide leadership and direction through the planning, organization, coordination, and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising program. This position will help develop and implement plans and establish policies to build the Kidspace fundraising program. Responsibilities include fundraising, resource development, annual giving, stewardship, grant writing, corporate/foundations relations programs, planned giving, data management, and friend-builder events. The Director of Development will build and oversee a development team.

Supervisor, Education Programs
Position Overview: Under general supervision, this Full-Time position is responsible for the day-to-day delivery and facilitation of Kidspace Educational Programs. They supervise staff, coordinate logistics, and collaborate closely with the Education Programs Manager to implement high quality programs that engage children through informal learning that amplifies the work of teachers, scout leaders, and parents. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Typical hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:45am-5:15 pm, with some weekends and evenings required. Kidspace is a hybrid workplace located in Pasadena, CA.

Part-Time Positions

Play Facilitator
Position Overview: Play Facilitators are responsible for engaging guests and supporting age-appropriate learning experiences. They are creative, patient and customer-service oriented. On a day-to-day basis, Play Facilitators lead short educational activities, answer guest inquiries and provide museum information, facilitate exhibit experiences and engage guests. The Play Facilitator position delivers play experiences on a daily basis through creating safe and welcoming spaces across campus and practicing guest engagement techniques that inspire and invite play. This is a part-time non-exempt position reporting to the Floor Leadership team.

Retail Associate
Position Overview: Retail Associates are responsible for engaging with guests and creating a joyful and welcoming atmosphere at the Kidspace Museum Store and pop-up locations. As part of a dynamic team within the museum which serves young children and their families, a playful attitude and interest in working with families of young children is a must! Retail Associates will provide excellent customer service to guests and will have knowledge and understanding of the Kidspace Point of Sale system for both on-site and online storefronts and assist in processing both onsite merchandise sales and fulfilling online orders. This is a part-time position, typical hours 9-5, weekends required, as well as some evenings.

Guest Services Associate
Position Overview: As part of a front-line team, the Guest Service Associate delivers outstanding guest service daily through fielding all guest inquiries via email, phone and in person while maintaining a solution mind set in all transactional engagements. They are responsible for handling all ticketing inquiries and transactions, as well as membership sales, groups, and birthday party bookings. This part-time non-exempt position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.
