Earth Day Highlights:
Ephemeral Mud Art
Get creative with wild clay and nature-inspired materials like shells and stones as you dive into messy mud art! Clay artist Elonda Billera from the Armory Center for the Arts will guide you in crafting tactile temporary masterpieces.
Wiggly Worm Encounters
Get up close with the coolest composters around—earthworms! Explore their wiggly world with magnifying glasses and live worm habitats. Our garden educator Erin Riley will share how worms help plants grow and how your family can create healthier soil at home.
Make & Give: Seed Balls for a Greener Future
Join LA Works and Roll up your sleeves to make seed balls using mud and native flower seeds. Take one home to plant and donate one to help restore fire-affected areas. While you’re at it, join us in making a Climate Pledge—a simple promise to care for the Earth in everyday ways.
