Celebrate Black History Month
February 14 - February 15

Celebrate Black History Month at Kidspace with art, music, dance, and storytelling rooted in African folklore traditions. Join Altadena’s own Rhythms of the Village for a high-energy, interactive program bringing our community together through drumming and dance.
Families are invited to experience African folklore brought to life through call-and-response storytelling, live drumming, song, dance, and hands-on exploration of instruments and cultural artifacts. Through joyful movement and shared participation, learn about community, cooperation, courage, leadership, and identity.
Live Performances with Rhythms of the Village at 11:15 am and 1:15 pm. Create your own jewelry inspired by African culture from 10:00 am–4:00 pm.
