Celebrate Pride
Diversity makes our community vibrant, and we welcome all types of families to play and learn at Kidspace! Celebrate this diversity and recognize LGBTQ+ families during Pride month with rainbow artmaking. Families are invited to make colorful art that represents the vibrancy of our diversity and inclusivity for LGBTQ+ families and their allies.
Join artist-in-residence Georgina Reskala to create colorful rainbow art. Learn embroidery techniques to decorate wooden butterflies. Wrap yarn around flexible materials to create different adornment artifacts such as necklaces, bracelets, head pieces. Making as a community is an important tradition across Mexico and has become a vital element in Reskala’s practice.
